Ancona (Italy) has a new technological car park near the railway station. This car park provides e-mobility solutions to ease people’s life, especially during this pandemic. Zero emissions thanks to a photovoltaic system producing 63 MWh/year.
A car park that is more than a car park. An innovative and sustainable project that promotes e-mobility and car-sharing, thanks to solar carports. It was conceived by MaSMo – Marche Smart Mobility – a female-founded start-up established in 2019 that strongly believes in sustainable urban development and redevelopment.
This car park is 100% sustainable because electric vehicles are charged with clean energy. The EV charging stations are powered by a PV system on the solar carports. This project was implemented by Samandel, Energy Service Company (Esco) of the VEOS group that provides companies, public administration bodies and the residential sector with energy efficiency solutions. Samandel also has a track record of over 50 MW PV systems installed. The solar carports installed in this car park have a peak power equal to 53.3 kWp and produces 63 MWh/year.
The overall PV surface is 296 m2 covered by 160 x 330 Wp FU330M NEXT monocrystalline photovoltaic modules provided by FuturaSun, Italy’s leading company in the production of high-efficiency photovoltaic modules.
