FuturaSun once again proves to be at the forefront of the PV industry by winning the prestigious international Archiproducts Design Award (ADA) 2023. The winner of the Sustainability Award is the innovative Silk® Plus Silver panel series, which impressed a renowned jury of eco-design experts.
Each year, the ADA Sustainability Award 2023 recognises companies and products that create synergy between technological research and design in order to reduce environmental and social impact.
Sustainability, high performance and aesthetic value
Silk® Plus Silver modules have been rewarded for their ability to present themselves not only as technologically advanced solutions, but as true design elements capable of contributing to the aesthetics of innovative architectural projects or energy requalification of historical and modern buildings. Photovoltaic technology once again demonstrates its versatility in both integrating and replacing traditional building materials.
In addition to efficiently generating renewable energy, these modules are made of 70% glass and 10% aluminium, materials that are 100% recyclable. The other materials used can also be recycled, bringing the recyclability of the module to over 90%.
Composed of high-efficiency monocrystalline cells, Silk® Plus Silver modules, in addition to high energy yield, also guarantee maximum colour integration. Thanks to their silver-coloured glass and frame, they are ideal for installations on roofs with grey and metal cladding, as well as in architectural façade integration.
With the ADA 2023 award, FuturaSun’s Silk® Plus Silver is once again confirmed as a key element in sustainable architecture, proving that beauty and energy efficiency can coexist harmoniously in the age of renewable energy.
