FuturaSun’s modules have qualified and been approved by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) for the Smart Dubai Initiative.
The complete range of FuturaSun’s mono and polycrystalline modules have been approved and insert in DEWA’s reference list of eligible products for solar installations according to the highest design qualification standards. The updated document is available online here.
Dubai’s Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is launching the Smart Initiative, with the aim of encouraging consumers to adopt solar energy as a mean of producing their own electricity and in line with the vision of Dubai as world leader in the green economy.
DEWA has committed to high technical standards for these installations, and therefore the solar equipment that will be part of them requires a process of certification to make sure such standards are complied with. DEWA is setting eligibility criteria base on international standards on quality and safety.
FuturaSun offers high quality modules with a 12 year product warranty and 25 year linear performance warranty. The quality is achieved by the use of the best raw materials, severe tests (including electroluminescence on each module) and certifications complying with local laws and requirements.
