ZEBRA Pro is coming, the new photovoltaic module with N-Type IBC technology: 430 Watt, 21.84% efficiency
Market leading power stability: 93% up to the 25th year, less than 1% degradation in the first year
FuturaSun launches a new series featuring N-type IBC technology: ZEBRA Pro. The modules will be presented during Intersolar Europe in Munich from 11 to 13 May at stand A2.350.
Thanks to IBC (Interdigitated Back Contact) technology, with the electrical contacts placed on the back, light absorption is at its maximum as the absence of ribbons and busbars are maximizing the available cell surface and no shadows are formed by the contacts.
The new module consists of 132 high efficiency 166mm (M6) N-Type IBC half-cut cells with an innovative layout that combines the latest gapless and reduced gap technologies. The reduced spacing results in a reduced module size (1895×1039 mm). And in such a small format ZEBRA Pro reaches a power of 430 Watt and a very high level of efficiency: 21.84%

The low thermal coefficient of -0.29%/°C, the high performance at low light irradiation (use of a wider light spectrum) and improved performance also under partial shaded conditions are very relevant factors as they increase the module yield allowing for more kWh per kWp. The ZEBRA module performs also well at various inclinations making the module suitable also for façade installations. The power stability over time is at a market leading level: at the end of the first year the guaranteed power is 99%, this means that during the first year the degradation is minimal, even less than 1%. From the second year the linear degradation is 0,25% which results in 93% of guaranteed power at the 25th year.

This stability is also due to the fact that ZEBRA cells are resistant to degradation problems such as LID (Light Induced Degradation)and LeTID (Light and elevated Temperature Induced Degradation), common in other high efficiency monocrystalline modules as N-Type cells are doped with phosphorus and not with boron.
Moreover, ZEBRA cells do no degrade under UV illumination.

The new series is available with white back sheet and black frame or in the elegant all black version, with black back sheet and black frame. The latter is particularly suitable for residential use and also for buildings of high architectural value.
The excellent technical characteristics, the high performance in terms of yield over the years and the 25-year product and performance guarantee make this module ideal not only for residential use but also for commercial installations and larger plants.
